The University of Chester is a well-known public university established in 1839 by 19th-century prime ministers William Gladstone, the Earl of Derby and a former Archbishop of Canterbury. If the international students are from other boards (Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Chhattisgarh, Uttarakhand, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh & Jharkhand boards) and not from Central Boards & major state boards, then they have to score a minimum of 70% in 12th standard to apply for undergraduate programs.
International students who are not able to score the minimum English proficiency requirement can take pre-sessional courses at the university.
Also, if international students cannot fulfil the academic requirement (score required in the previous qualification), they can enrol in foundation programs to bridge the gap between their previous qualification and undergraduate entry requirement.

The fees for all the part-time and full-time undergraduate programs are 12950 pounds (for the entire course duration). Whereas the fees for most of the postgraduate programs are approx. 13450 pounds, and for postgraduate research programs, it ranges between 6500 pounds to 13,500 pounds. Also, the students applying for the foundation courses can complete the course for approximately 9,250 pounds.

The fee for the MBA program at the university is approximately 13750 pounds. While the fee for MA Social Work and MA Art Therapy is 16,000 pounds (split over 2 years).
